David A. McAusland, Chairman, Montreal General Hospital Foundation, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-Guy Gourdeau as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation.
Mr. Gourdeau, CA (CPA), CFA, comes from the financial industry and has extensive experience in the charitable sector as well.
He was recently President, Solstice Financial and serves on the Board of Directors of both Fortem and GCS Medical, and is a Member of Anges Quebec. He previously held senior management positions with Richardson Capital, Investors Group and Power Financial Corporation.
Mr. Gourdeau is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Foundation of Greater Montreal and of The Foundation of the YMCAs of Quebec, a position he has held for thirteen years. He was also a member of the Board of Directors of Fondation Hopital Ste-Justine and a member of the Investment and Audit Committees.
Mr. Gourdeau holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Finance and Accounting from McGill University.
